Watch: ‘Gorilla’ chases astronauts aboard space station

Astronauts aboard the international space station recently had a surprise visitor, but it wasn’t an alien.

In a video posted on Twitter, NASA astronaut Scott Kelly dresses up in a gorilla suit and chases his colleagues around the space station.

Kelly’s brother, Mark Kelly, posted a video of the incident on Monday with the hashtag #ApeInSpace.

In the video, Scott emerges from a white box dressed in a gorilla suit and races after an astronaut.

Scott is currently on the last leg of a year-long mission in space. He tweeted on Monday, “8 days to go tomorrow.”

He began his year in space on March 27, 2015, and is set to return on March 1, according to NASA.

While in space, he’s been active on Twitter, posting stunning images of the Northern Lights, Storm Jonas and the Nile River, to name a few.

Scott will hold the U.S. record for most cumulative days spent in space with 520 days, according to NASA.
