Wednesday Fix – Episode 2


Welcome to the 2nd episode of the Wednesday Fix, it’s definitely been a while.  We have 10 unique tracks to help lighten your moods on the first hump day of August.  Portland transplant Reo Cragun has made waves all summer long with his intimate release ‘Who Do You Think You Are…?’ while mysterious producer Pools keeps churning out churning out ambient, head-bobbing masterpieces with ‘Blue’.  Just A Gent put his magic into an intoxicating spin of Vincent‘s ‘Her’ that masterfully uses a sample from The Pixies’ nostaglic hit ‘Where Is My Mind’, while up and coming rock/pop group Blair graced us with the summer anthem, ‘Five Past Ten’.  Alex Young has been on a roll lately devoting himself to veer away form the Trap & Bass sound that he was known for over the years, and ‘Because All Is Lost (There Is Nothing To Lose)’ is a emotionally driven masterpiece.  Los Angeles’ humble heavyweight, Mr. Carmack, recently put out a ton of free unreleased downloads via his Soundcloud, and we can’t get enough of the bootleg he did with fellow LA mastermind Great Dane of Major Lazer x DJ Snake‘s hit ‘Lean On’.  Lastly, we decided to hit you with some nostalgia with Cassius’2010 masterpiece ‘I Love U So’, Peking Duk x Safia‘s ‘Take Me Over, araabMuzik x Danny Brown‘s 2012 remix of The Pink‘s ‘Stay Gold’ and Deadmau5‘s extended live edit of his legendary single, ‘Strobe’.
